Shame on Britian and British culture...
BBC Reports wrote: |
A 34-year-old man has been shot dead by four masked gunmen in a Leeds take-away in a "targeted attack", police say.
The attack happened at the Shahjahan Restaurant in Roundhay Road, Harehills, at 2330 (BST) on Friday.
The road remained closed off on Saturday afternoon as forensics experts carried out investigations.
Detectives had arrived at the scene to find the dead man on the shop's kitchen floor. Police said the gang could be local and may have fled on foot.
Detective Superintendent Steve Payne said they believed the victim, who lived locally, had collected a curry several minutes before but had run back to the take-away for refuge when he knew he was being pursued.
'Very shaken'
He said the man then jumped into the kitchen area to hide from the gunmen, but they broke down a door and forced their way into the room... |

I'm from England and I totally agree. We are disgraceful when it comes to crime. Like Americans. |

demi fretted:
Yeah, we should be more civilized and cut off people's hands, or heads, or let them languish in jail for years for speaking out of turn, or assassinate mayors of major cities for not fixing our cars. |

I think Demi was saying that violence and uncivil behaviour in both Britain and the U.S. and, I would add Canada is possibly getting there, are increasing in an alarming fashion. I don't mean crime is necessarily worse, but the attitudes among the youth seems worse. Of course, violence has always been with us. Everyone knows that hooliganism among the British is a serious problem. Is somewhat of a less problem in Italy, but serious mayham broke out in Italy recently. |
