[Ya-ta Boy]

This is just a thank you note to the poster who mentioned this book a couple of weeks ago. I'm about half-way through and am thoroghly enjoying it.

For those who don't know, it's about recent research that indicates the aboriginal population of the New World was much higher and denser than previously thought.

I'm not convinced of the book's thesis, but am enjoying the information and the challenging ideas the writer is presenting. He's a journalist, not an expert. The writing is good and the details of the history are well laid out.
