You know, with your heels under your buttocks when you're in a Korean restaurant without chairs. The problem is that about 90% of the time I really have to convince the person / people that I'm really not uncomfortable and no, being white doesn't make sitting like that impossible. Since it's a boring subject though I also don't want to be the one to bring it up as a preemptive strike, letting them know that "wow, this is certainly a comfortable way to sit" because there's a small chance they won't bring it up in the first place. So perhaps there's a method of looking super comfortable, just enough that nobody thinks about asking whether it's excruciating pain or not, but not so much that it looks like I want to talk about sitting, because I don't.

Think there's a magic way to look comfortable enough that people might decide not to talk about whether it hurts or not, and that "you can stretch out your legs if you want, don't try too hard to sit like that, come on, just sit comfortably the way you're supposed to"?

Kind of a silly subject, but hey.

I like to sit that way too, and I've been told that it inspires such a reaction because it's 'how monks sit.' Apparently it's ok for women to sit that way too.
I still sit that way anyway though
