Hello. I originally thought I'd be in Anyang.

It's now confirmed I'll be working at a school in Yeokgok. It's in Bucheon (I think) Cool.

The current teacher I'll replace, has given positive feedback about the job and my co-teacher.

Are there any places to eat western food in Yeokgok? I've thought, what do you guys eat at lunch at school? Is it all Korean or do they serve other stuff to?

Thank you.

i wouldnt get into the habit of eating western food too much. It generally costs a lot more. Anyway, go to Bucheon station (one or two stops away). There is a TGIFs and a small personal size pizza place in the basement of the subway station. If you go as far as Bupyeong you can find an Outback and a Bennigans.

Otherwise, just get used to gimbab.

There is that western place not too far away, and another bar in the same area that people frequent.

There is an indian place near Bucheon station. I am not sure where.

Also, you could just hop on the train and go to Seoul. It's only about 22 minutes to Yongsan if you catch the express.

Thank you.

I love Indian/Pakistani food, I hope that Indian restaurant is good when I find it.

I suppose I will have to develop a taste for something Smile
