Hello,
I have an elementary class of 5th and 6th graders and I am teaching clothing next week. I have played a game before where I have two cut-out dolls, one for each team, on the board. I ask questions and if a team gets the wrong answer then I remove a peice of clothing. The team with all their clothing removed loses, however the doll only goes down to their underwear.
Is that morally wrong do you think?

Sounds hilarious but I'd probably be too afraid to try it myself.
Good heavens now I'm thinking what would happen if I got some realistic dolls of Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio and tried that with my students. |

if you have to ask, it is probably not okay...
i think it sounds fun, and maybe i would do that if they were older, but not elementary kids, you dont want to be 변태 샘 (perverted teacher).
maybe you could have them start in a t-shirt and shorts, and they have to add the clothes, like pretend it is winter and they need everything to go play in the snow. |

I would do the add clothes instead of taking them off.
I'm pretty sure there's a children's game they play outdoors which is very similar to "Red Light Green Light" where it involves adding additional layers of clothing. |

Just imagine what the parents would think. Perhaps you can play a different game.
Here, I just thought of this.
Choose any simple card game you can explain in two minutes.
Choose one in which a 'hand' takes less than a minute.
Each team has to make sets of clothing.
Every time they win a hand, they get a random piece of clothing.
Winter clothes would be, coat, boots, long pants, sweater, hat, mittens.
Summer. Basball cap, shorts, running shoes, t-shirt, socks.
fall. wind breaker, hat, umbrella, long pants, shirt.
spring. (i'm thinking....)
Sports. soccer cleats, shorts, sports jersey, sweat bands, socks, (NO jockstrap) etc.
Teams can trade with other teams to get clothing they need. It becomes a strategy game. Maybe team B gives team A a piece of clothing if they WONT trade with Team C.
Team to make a set first wins. Start again.
Dunno. Could be fun. |

Are the dolls anatomically correct? |

| Yup. That's why the game comes with a mini magnifying glass. |

6th grade is much too old to be playing strip poker with them. Anything over 2nd grade, and they're liable to tell. |

That sounds wrong in so many different ways.
I will do the add clothes game suggested.
Thanks, |
