Goddamnit this is annoying. Why is it so difficult to send email from a Yahoo account to a Hanmail account?

So often I get this polite little "failure notice":

<[email protected]>:
Sorry, I couldn't find any host named hanmail.net.

Well, I'm sorry Yahoo, but I'm reasonably certain that hanmail.net does exist.

A friend explained this to me once, but I've forgotten the explanation as to why this happens. It has to do with filters or something. Now, I know I can just get a hanmail account. In fact, I have one. But when I have to attach files and CC and all that crap it's just easier to do it (or, well, try it) from my Yahoo account.

Exasperating.

Because hanmail sucks.

Hanmail's filter is default set to block yahoo, among others. The only way I know to get around it is to use my gmail account (unless they've finally blocked that, as well).

Gmail still works with Hanmail. About forty of my students sent me their homework to my Gmail account and at least 80% of those were from Hanmail accounts.
