Is there surfable waves in Korea? And if so, places you can actual borrow boards? I did a search on this and didn't find much.

Thanks!

i saw one webpage once about how people can surf on jeju. some surfer who was trying to surf every break in the world... travelling with his wife and kid.

you can surf in japan, however. another reason to leave....

unfortunately there doesn't seem to be much here, although I heard there's surf near Busan so I'm keen to check that out...
there were a few breakers in Jeju when I was there but nothing worth writing home about

Very interesting website, joey. I may use that when I go. Hopefully I can find a board, there's no way I can lug my longboard around.

For people who have surfed before you came here you will find it laughable....0.5 metre at best except if there is a bit of a typhhon swell but then it is too choppy....the best spot seems to be Sokcho area but it breaks maybe 5 days a year at best.

For beginners it could be pretty good to learn on...east coast and jeju would be the best bets.
