Seems Christianity is no inoculation for lying. What Kerry said was it was his understanding they intentionally pulled it because of a wall being weakened. Interestingly, he said it so matter-of-factly and not at all in terms of a conspiracy, but in terms of building safety.
But, hey, five, we all knew lying wasn't limited to us heathens. If anything, we are less prone to it: less to hide. |

I did this debate on pusanweb for a long time. It's far from clear if Silverstein is making any money out of this. About Kerry, did anyone else get the feeling he was talking completely out of his as*? Or maybe that's just what he just wants you to think, because he's in on it, too. We should understand that's the logical conclusion here, if Kerry really knows something and isn't saying anything. This means Kerry is, at least in some small way, part of a criminal conspiracy with George Bush.

Silverstein wants to rebuild. Unfortunately for him, "In total, Silverstein was awarded nearly $5 billion in insurance money following the destruction of the Twin Towers [8]. In April 2006, rebuilding cost was estimated to be $6.3 billion."
If Silverstein got all the bonds made available for rebuilding, he'd be ok. But, "if Silverstein wins only half of the Liberty Bonds, the finances become murky. The deal wouldn't be economical unless rents rose quickly, so it might fall short of lenders."
Unfortunately for Silverstein "The April agreement gives him about 60% of the $3.3 billion in public funding made available from Liberty Bonds to finish the site"
So Silverstein is far from being in the clear. He might make a profit out of this yet, but only if the rents rise considerably. Bloomberg, who knows something about money, "claims he opposes the World Trade Center plan because the project is financially unviable: Silverstein, he argues, will run out of money once he has built one or two towers". |

What, are you suggesting that flipper has any other mode of communication? |
