I have about 1,200,000 won to spend on a PC. Do you guys have any recommendations? I don't care what is in it. I only want it to download stuff and watch movies on it. I don't game.

You won't need that much money. Try like 400,000 Won to build your own. If you want a laptop, then yes, you need like 1,200,000 Won. I know a place in Busan directly north of Dongnae subway stop where you can get parts. There are many markets in the cities where generic and not so generic parts can be had. The problem is carrying that heavy cathode ray tube monitor home, unless you get an LCD monitor.

All you need is a huge hard drive and a good pc nothing too fancy.
I download with my HP laptop (dv9000z) and an external 320GB HD.

I have a 17" screen you may want something bigger.
