What are the best places for a weekend jaunt? Figure leaving on Friday, and coming back on Monday, or coming back Sunday to get ready for work on Monday.
I was thinking:
1. Beijing.
2. Yanji (Korean autonomous zone in China) --> cool place w/direct flights from ICN. |

You have been in Korea too long.
Otherwise, I agree with this. |

Go to Seoraksan. The weather is perfect right now, though a bit windy. I think you may have to wait a couple of weeks for the snow to melt off some of the higher peaks. You could leave early Saturday morning and get in a shorter hike during the afternoon, head to Waterpia (the overpriced waterpark) in the evening, and then go on down to the sea for some seafood. Get in a longer hike the next day and be home by around 8-10pm. |
