ok so heres the deal

i have an iriver flash player with a 2 gb capacity....

i want to get the maximum storage and playback use out of it...

so you know how you can save heaps of music files to a cd but use the data mode...is there any way you can do the same thing with an iriver and still enjoy playback of the files saved as data????

any advice would be much appreciated....

cheers

The answer is that no, you cannot really squeeze any more music onto your player. There is a longer answer but I don't really have the energy to explain it at the moment. Suffice it to say that you should be getting around 500 songs onto your player, give or take a bit.

That's on account of mp3 format already being pretty compressed.
