| A Korean teacher got me to correct some material and I got confused about hyphens. There should definitely be a hyphen in see-saw, but what about zoo keeper? I started going through the list of words and hyphenated nearly every noun with two words. But I dread being asked why some were hyphenated and some not. Also I don't want to start a hyphenation craze where everything-gets-hyphenated-around-the-school. So what's the rule? |

We all have our dazed and confused times. Hopefully when I have mine someone will help.

And if you read the Wikipedia entry it begins with...
"A definitive collection of hyphen rules does not exist." |
