I'm starting this thread to see what techniques are best for improving memorization skills. Obviously I want to find a better way to remember my vocabulary lists of Korean words, but in general what helps you memorize things better? Association? Writing them down 100 times? etc.

Any links to good sites that offer good info would also be appreciated. I never cared much about memorization after university, and it's been awhile. Now that I'm learning Korean (Will be my third language) - I find it difficult to memorize 80 word lists of vocabulary in three days time as required by my instructor. I can still remember a lot of Greek because I studied for years when I was a kid, but it was mostly spoken language because I grew up in Athens and used the language daily.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.
