Okay, here is another newbie looking for some social life in Bundang. I live in Seohyeon and arrived about a month ago from Vancouver, BC. If there is anyone else out there looking for some conversation, coffee/tea/dinner companions, the occasional drink companion (I am not huge on drunken conversations), or someone to explore with, give me a shout.

I am also interested in finding out if there are any social clubs/networks around for running, biking, hiking or yoga. These are obviously my interests.

So, please, I am not looking for any newbie bashing here, as I know is so popular on this site. Just a little friendly conversation.

Cheers Cool

Damn, I love conversation! I'm at Ori, always eager to meet new people. As for clubs, there's a YMCA just out of Ori station that does English-language yoga classes every Saturday morning. PM me and we can find a place/time to meet over a beverage either caffeinated or intoxicated.

I have been here a month and have found the same little problem. I would love to meet some new people. I am 24 from Australia. If you organise a meet up, I would be super keen to come along.

I live at Yatap.

Cheers,

Anyone up for breakfast on Sunday morning? There are a few really great restaurants in Jeongja that serve decent breakfasts. There is one that serves eggs, sausage, toast, hashbrown, and coffee for about 7,000. The other one is across the walkway and they serve a waffle and egg set breakfast. It's more expensive, but really good. I think it's about 12,000W. Anyone up for meeting?

You guys should meet at the american dinner (its above tony n guy in jeoungja) They have great food. Coffee is over priced but it is better food than the two mentioned (frankies and harou)

I've lived in Seognam (Taepyeong Station) for a while now, but never venture south into Bundang and all of my friends are in Seoul.

I wouldn't mind knowing some people closerby. If anyone's up for something PM me. I often go hiking (with a backpack full of makkoli Smile ) with my brother in-law on Sundays (he's got a car...).

did your company put you in there? i'm in the same building. i'd advise you to NOT pay your utility bill until the management issue is worked out. i was told this could take another 2-3 months.

Hey there everyone,

I am still planning to go for breakfast this Sunday in Jeongja. If you are interested in going and meeting some new people, we are meeting at Jeongja Stn at 10am. I will be waiting outside the exit where Dunkin Donuts is. I hope some people can pull their butts out of bed for a good meal. See you there. (PM if you need more details).

I'm also in Bundang, near Ori. We should all go out for drinks one of these Saturdays. I'd recommend using facebook to meet people around here.
