Is there a law?

My company has NEVER paid until 15 days AFTER the contract is finished. Most teachers are long gone and the money just shows up in the teacher's account back home.

Sooooo, how do you guys get paid before you leave... preferably on the last day of work?

That is not good. I'm sure some of the more experienced posters will have some good advice for you. After you leave the country they have no incentive to pay you, unless they're very honest, and you will have no legal rights from your home country. It is customary to get paid before you leave.

If you're talking about salary, they're clearly breaking labor laws, but no one (that you know of) has actually been scammed (yet).

If you're talking about severance, they CAN pay it up to 30 days after work has ended. Nothing you can legally do about that.
