Anyone else notice the word "charisma" taking over lately?
And just like 99% of the English words Korean media tries to use, I have to spend 30 minutes every class explaining why it's wrong: "sorry kids, xxxx actor is not 'charisma man', he's 'charismatic'" |

| I heard the word "V-Line" 3 times in 2 days on KBS. I really that doesn't catch on. |

When I first heard "V-line" I thought it was the male equivalent of S-line. Whereas S-line was a woman's shapely figure, the V-line was a man's "triangular"/muscular physique. I guess that was wrong: when I logged onto Cyworld yesterday, they had a graphic about v-lines... a v-line is a woman's cleavage. Never would have guessed it without seeing it. |

Strange, I thought the V-line was the shape of a woman's jawbone.
The two commercials I see on TV regularly (Style channel) are for a tea that supposedly gives you a V-line face, and a lifting cream that supposedly gives you a V-line face. The tag line of the tea is "난, 부이 라인 얼굴." (Me, v-line face.)
I really don't understand the M-line though. I just don't see it. |
