I'm not a US citizen and haven't been there for more that 10 years, so I'm not in the know about getting flights there.

Anyway, I'm thinking of visiting a friend in Montana in the summer. The cheapest flight I've found so far is $2005, that's to Helena. Is that typical? Or is there something I don't know about? Some travel agent that specialises in flights from Korea to US?

I'd really like to visit my buddy. He used to teach here but now he's a cop in Bozeman, Montana. We're gonna ride fast bikes and horses and do some shooting. Can't wait.

Any tips on getting a good price for flights would be appreciated.

That seems about right for a return ticket. Fuel surcharges are increasing all the time, and airlines know that in the summer there is more demand for fuel so prices go up accordingly.

It seems prices are about 15% more expensive this year than last year (when I was pricing tickets). My 1 way ticket was roughly 10% more expensive than when I came over here last year, and that is with a very far advanced booking. Many of the flights are 30% more expensive this year Sad

Montanna in the Summer is amazing. Go to Yellowstone. I worked there during the summer of 99. You won't regret it. Watch out for the die hard Christians though. They're everywhere out there.
