MODS--I AM NOT TEACHING PRIVATES, PLEASE DO NOT DELETE THIS THREAD!

Does anyone know of a good book to use to teach an adult one-on-one? He learned a little English in middle-school, he knows a whole lot of English when he drinks soju. Laughing I'm hoping for a book like the Sogang Korean series.

Any good suggestions?

Articles from Playboy and Penthouse magazines work great.

His wife is super cool with me. I think after that, she may not be. Cool

I like the guy, I like his wife, I like their kids, and they all like me. I want to keep it that way. Razz

Actually though, I remember when I was studying for the GRE, I found a bunch of my GRE words in Playboy. I kid you not.

Playboy really does have some good writing. You know, interspersed with naked ladies.

www.breakingnewsenglish.com

It can be a little boring, though, depending on how serious the learner is.

Jazz English is useful if he's of a slightly lower level.
