Hello all - After teaching in Busan for a year, then traveling and having been home for a month I find myself surprised at how much I miss Korea and the benefits of teaching there. So I'm thinking of coming back this fall, but I'm more-or-less locked into my living situation through August. I know the way to look for a good job is to be there, but would early September be too late? I could break my lease and come over for summer camp - how much can a BS, no certification, one year experience expect to make at a summer camp? And would that still be too late to look for anything better than what's available through a recruiter? Thanks all. |

I dont know about a summer camp, but if theres one thing I learned about getting a job in Korea, its that theyre available ALL year round! Unless of course you want to work at a public school, in which case youll probably have to wait until March seeing as they finish the school year in December. |

Mostly true, but I know of at least a few PS jobs that will end at the end of October -- mine being one of them! (actually, OP, PM me if you wanna know more...) |

When I came back to Korea, I worked a summer camp. (They will start in mid-late July.). A great way to get back in Korea and look for a full-time job when you're here. |
