Hi all,
My school is talking about recruiting some temporary overseas teachers for their 3 month summer school program. I'm... confused. (Unsurprisingly, since I'm in Korea). I've always thought that to work legally in Korea, you need the E2 visa, and you won't get the E2 visa without signing on with a school for at least 12 months.
So what's the deal? Does a special short-term working visa actually exist?
Or are these teachers just going to have to sign a fake 12 month contract to satisfy Immigration? |

The teacher(s) will have to obtain C4 Visas. They will need to present the same documents as teachers are required to submit for an E2 Visa. |
