Does anybody know of a place to camp near Seoul? It doesn't have to be to near, just doable by bus, train,walk,etc....
I guess it doesn't have to be that nice either. Just have a fire, maybe some water?????

Head to the islands. Camp on the beach. |

NEAR SEOUL.
I don't know how to reserve it, but there are camping sites on Bukhansan. You'll have to hike into them. Have a Korean-speaker call the park service and inquire. |

There's the Nanji Camping grounds, very near to the World Cup Stadium and Hangang Citizens Park:

They have tents to rent and everything.
You may need a Korean friend to help navigate the site and make reservations... |

Ka-pyeong is about an hour east by slow train. Nami Island is right there. |
