As I go through the process of looking for a teaching job in Korea, I find location choice to be an intimidating colossus. Anyone have any stellar recommendations? What's to love and hate about the city you live in? Cost of living? Culture? Public transport? Too crowded? Too quiet? etc etc. I know this is a pretty broad question, but if you feel like detailing the joys and frustrations experienced in your Korean city, I'd love to hear all about it. Thanks.

Tony

Seoul. All other places in Korea are pale imitations. Trust me, Seoul is the place to be in Korea, if you want to experience the real Korea that is.

By "real Korea," I assume you mean "the closest thing to not actually being in Korea."

EPIK in Gwangju Busan Chinju or Taegu.... that is the question for me... I gotsome opinions on it already and word was the POEin Busan is not so swell.. no idea on that - mmm I am leaning toward Busan - I have been there before and know they have bicycle ride groups there - also it has a beach (which is said to be cccccold water) and ummm what else well it has a A south paw spot in the Korean bear (all Koreans use to be bears so it fits they shuold live in a paw shape) right so warm/big/and has everything you can wan tas it is the secon largest chhhity in COREA!

I wil go there I am thinking...

Umm but Iread that Gwangju is good for the nature around and Chinju would be on the south and not quite as dirty (and big USCities are dirty too nothing against my Love Korea) but Chinju may not have a lot of expats for me to befriend。。。 any calls on my locals please give a shout u gs and shorties you lknow like
