Over there, life meant nothing, no reason to identify, to feel adaptiveness, since the only choice was to be 'them'. Those that did found a woman, one of the greatest facades. It identifies you with the opposite sex, one confounding, constricting, conscience-riven to divide.
Which is what it appears has happened to my poor Canadian friend. He has nothing to identify with, except perhaps the fact, no slim women exist in Canada, and therefore, he's got some leverage. No voice exists, except the Korean's vociferousness, which the Canadian conforms to. Nothing exists, except the neons, calling, calling, making the Canadian lose all sense of identity and political certaintly.
Democracy wasn't why he came.
It was the bright lights of showmanship and glamor. |
