Sorry, can't remember the books I liked (and some are way better than others, so its worth the search): I've been away too long from the classroom! Someone else is bound to come along with specific recommendations for you, tho'.

In the meanwhile, here's a suggestion:

i) go to major publishers' websites (see page 2 of this website for links to enough such publishers: http://www.cde.state.co.us/cdeadult/download/pdf/SPL6TextRecs1005.pdf - found via a google search for 'esl textbooks multi skills');

ii) list the book & publisher name & ISBN of any book that seems appropriate; and,

iii) go to Kyobo Bookstore ('Kyobo Mungo') or other major ESL bookstore and look, or ask the sales clerks, for these books.

Or just head on over to Kyobo: it'll have many books to choose from.

davehere,

Head on over to our Folders of Resources and check out the hundreds of books.

Lots there. Many teachers like the True stories series. Read the stories, answer questions/discuss. One book I'd highly recommend is an ESP (english for special purposes) book by Andrew Finch -- Visit Korea! Only 15,000 and see excerpts in our Korea folder....great to use Korean topics and the students , adult or young love this culturally specific topic.

Also, many more books in our Resource area at EFL Classroom 2.0. For EFL specific stuff, see all the hand picked books by experienced teachers in our Bookstore. http://eflclassroom.com/eflbooks.html You can even order directly from Amazon, shipping is about 5-10 business days.

Cheers,

DD
