I'm generally a big fan of seafood, albeit American style seafood. Batter fried shrimp. Boiled lobster with butter sauce. Crab claws. Things like that. Meanwhile, I'm not so big on fried octopus, or squid, or sea sponges, or most of the other stuff Korea considers seafood.

There are a couple of fishing ports near me that are filled with seafood restaurants, but I'm worried that I'll be stuck with some kimchi and octopus concoction. So I'm pleading to the culturally and gastronomically experienced people to recommend some good seafood dishes. I've got my eyes on some king crab in particular, but is it comparable to, say, a Red Lobster King Crab (or Bob Chinn's for those from Chicago)? What else would satisfy my craving for some good seafood?

FWIW, I am close to Sorae and Oido.
