Man the music they play on that station is the absolute worst. All this modern pop garbage abnd country music where every song is about god, dear ile' dad, or the brand new baby. And the exaggerated Southern drawls on those guys who do the weekend shows. Just grinds on my nerves. Don't get me wrong. This is not an anti-American post. I appreciate the AFN television station. It makes life here a bit easier and I appreciate it. But Eagle FM. Man that's a bad station. If you're reading this dudes put aside the Britney Speers and all the other modern trash a couple times a week and play some rock and roll. Not everyone listening to your program is eighteen. And the wildly exaggerated drawl - get rid of it. Noone (and I mean NOONE) actually talks like that.

Yaw'll get my meaning?

After much thought I have decided to keep with what I play and talk just the way the folks in my neck of the woods speak. Sorry, no RnR for yis!

Yup, that station is the fcuking pits. For starters they thrash Nickleback, and the rest is just terrible country music and top 40 US chart bollocks.

AND, they just ended the life of Pandora in South Korea. A sad day for radio and the ROK.

Seriously considering broadcasting a pirate radio station.

There's probably some law against pirate radio signals here because it's close to North Korea. It would be awesome to do that though.

These days everyone has their own Internet radio station. When I first got here I signed up on SayCast.com (a very difficult process) where everyone DJs their own music.

Have you sent a list of suggested songs to the station manager?
Also, remember-just because you want to hear-Ru Paul, Cher, Barbara Streisand, and songs like-"It's Raining Men", "YMCA", and "Macho Man", doesn't mean everyone else should suffer for it.

Just download your music. You have heard of the internet?

I'll admit it's pretty bad. But look at the commercial radio back home. Total garbage for the most part. At least Eagle plays some classic rock in the evenings. That's the only time to listen to it. After 6pm

Spinning through the dial, is there a better station in Korea?
Seriously.
