I know this sounds a bit pathetic....but I feel it has to be said.

If peachgaru's picture is genuine and her posts are genuine, would everybody here agree with me when I say she, like myself, is a real rarity, she is beautiful both inside and out.

All of those in agreement with the above statement please share your opinions with tact and sensitivity.

Lastly, I'm coming to S. Korea next week (oh dear....ahem ahem)

I'm kind of embarrassed that I put up a picture now bc I've received pm's asking if I'm a man, troll, etc.

I'm not! I'm just a girl who's going to Korea to teach esl. I have nothing to do now that I've finished undergrad...just graduating next week....so I'm spending a lot of time on Dave's. I've been lurking the Dave's boards ever since my junior year of uni when I first started taking Korean language. Since I'm actually going now, I wanted to become an active member of the Dave's boards.

I've noticed that some of you actually know each other in real life and meet up and have Ladies Lunch, etc. So I didn't mind putting up my pic, since I don't mind having any of you recognize me when I'm in Seoul. Part of this arises from my fear that I'll be lonely in Korea.

Anyways, you can look at my cyworld. I have lots of pics...a lot are just of my cat...but there are some of me...some flattering some not so flattering, but its me. If I was just a troll, I'd be a troll with A LOT of time on my hands to go to the extreme of making a cyworld and gathering all the pics.

well the uk...it's made up of some countries, one of which is England.

It happens to be a country which made up a language which helps everybody on this forum to earn a living

You'll be fine here in Seoul. Making friends here is much easier than you'd think, and seeing as how you've been studying Korean, you're more than set. Enjoy your time at home before you arrive... you'll love it!

Please, correct me if I am wrong, but this thread strikes me as more dorky than nerdy.

I think of a nerd as being the guy with glasses who knows a lot about one thing in particular (science, computer programming, etc..) that does not get him laid in high school, but will lead him to a life of high paid happiness, as he loves his interesting job and women love his interesting personality and skinny good looks.

A dork is the kind of person who who does socially awkward things that make people uncomforable. A dork might wear those socks with the toes built in, or wears a sombrero and a shiny shirt to parties or something like that. The dork sits in his apartment and makes a tribute thread to the first girl to ever include her picture in their post on his favorite internet message board.

Am I right? Am I wrong?
