Hi again!

I have been gone a few weeks due to being a full-time tour guide for my parent's friends, and have had some time to reflect on this whole transcript problem of mine...(Long story short-I can't get access to my official uni transcripts). I can't get this thought out of my head and I don't want to give up so easily. I am still researching Taiwan in case it is absolutely impossible for me to get a legal job without transcripts...

Two weeks ago, I sent emails to two recruiters (one of them being Kim and Joe) explaining them my transcript issue and have yet to receive any reply! I probably should know better than to ask a recruiter because they will only respond if I also provide my resume/CV. But, today I decided to just start emailing anyone and everyone to see what they have to say.

Anyways, I am in the process of doing the search function on "transcripts" and so far no one seems to have been in the situation I am now which makes it all the more frustrating (although good for them because being in this position sucks). But, like I said I am still researching so maybe after I send this post I will find something!

So I am going to ask this again even though I am sure I am annoying and am repeating myself...

Is it absolutely necessary to have official signed and sealed uni transcripts? Will Korean immigration reject me on the spot if I can only provide my unofficial transcripts?

What if I have other substantial proof besides transcripts?

Have any of you have or have not had to send your official transcripts?

Ok thank you so much for dealing with a newbie like me! I really appreciate it!

Bre

I'm almost 100% sure you'll need transcripts. Contact your university.

I have my original transcripts but I'm reluctant to pay 50 for another set just to send abroad.

If you have your original transcript why don't you photocopy it and then take it to your university and ask them to sign it and stamp the sealed envelope and then send it out. This is what my old university have said they'll do if I don't want to lay out for a replacement set.

I can't understand the big Korean to-do over University transcripts. If they're that concerned why don't they just email the university for confirmation?
