Has anyone here ever done that? I really hate living in apartment buildings or around many people. I'd like my own separate house with a little greenery. My main question is how close can you get it to the quality of a western house. Running water.....regular bathroon.....electricity....decent construction...that sorta thing.

Jongnoguru's posted a lot about his house and renovating the place, but I can't seem to find any of those threads. He's definitely the guy that would know though.
