Ladies and Gentlemen;
No names nor particular locations will be disclosed at this time, but I have a question for you. (Please excuse the following mother of all run-on sentences!)
IF you sign a contract at 10:00 a.m. to teach an "After-School" program and you have it in writing that the matters of pension and health are going to be handled by the employer, what would you do if you were told (at 6:00 p.m. that very same day) that you will be responsible for registering and paying your health and pension contributions - only to be "reimbursed" at some point between the day you pay and the following payday?
OK - Discuss... |

What kind of visa do you have? My guess is F-2. If that's the case, I'd probably go ahead and pay and get reimbursed, if the afterschool program is a good one. If it's for an E-2 and they're my sponsor, I'd tell them it's their responsibility. My thoughts, at least. |

If you are on an E-2 then do not accept that, however, if you are on one of the F visas then if you so wish let them reimburse you, but for gods sake sign a new contract stating the fact. |

I would say that less than 8 hours after signing a contract with you, they are signalling their to break said contract. I wouldn't go with it, regardless of visa type. |
