I have very hard water where I live (northern Seoul). It has turned my blonde hair a lovely shade of green. Do they sell the filters for showerheads here? If so, where can I get one, and how do I ask for it in Korean? |

You can get a water softener for your shower, but they're not cheap. The one is our house was leased along with a drinking water dispenser and a toilet seat / bidet contraption. The ajuma comes about once every month to service them and replace the filters. It's available through the Woongjin/Coway company and I've seen their rep's working at Homeplus and Emart. You can check it out, but may be only cost effective if you're planning on staying a while.
I used to have seriously dry skin, to the point of scabby shins in the winter, until we got the water softener. Needless to say, I love my Woongjin/Coway ajuma. |
