I am writing a paper (for a TESOL MA) regarding a language policy issue in Korea and I will probably be writing about the somewhat controversial issue of mandatory English lectures (not ESL classes) making their way into the top universities in Korea. There's been quite a bit about it in the media in the last year or so and I've read that some uni presidents and deans have even lost jobs over it.
I need to interview about four Korean nationals who know a little bit about the issue and can give me a little insight and opinion on it. They don't have to be experts, but someone probably in education who can chat about it - even a little bit - would be great. If by any chance you can recommend someone, it would be a big help. I could probably use a couple of students too. If you happen to have an outgoing student whom you think might have an opinion pro or con about having to take some upper level courses in English, that would be great too.
Any introductions would be greatly appreciated.
