running off to work ... teach my classes ... finally get a little break ... walk outside around the corner and reach out for my cigs ... WHERE THE HELL IS MY LIGHTER!!!
don't you just hate leaving your lighter at home and having to buy another lighter for 300 won ... knowing that you have literally over 60 lighters at home just waiting for you to use ... seriously, i miss those book of matches you get for free at every convenience stores ... the lighter man must make crazy money here in korea ... everyone buys them ... especially bars that give them to you for free ... i must have literally 40 lighters from seoul train and 20 more bought because of days like today scattered everywhere in my apartment ... 10 in my bathroom, 3 on top of the tv, some more in my kitchen cabinets and under the bed, even more in the pockets of my pants ... but not in my pocket that im wearing, not today ... and those days suck ... its not the 300 won that im losing that pisses me off, its gaining another lighter ... can't just throw it away ... so here in my apartment, there are 61 lighters now ... yeah for the lighter man in korea! |

Ummm....What is the stupidest thing you can do? Smoke?
Sorry. Couldn't resist. Carry on.
I do admit I tease my friends who smoke about using the cheapazz lighters. I tell them use should go to Itaewon and buy a fancy one. Maybe it's because they might leave it somewhere like I constantly leave umbrellas.

Ugh I hate having to wash my hands after smoking - kills a minute off of the 15 minute 'break' between classes - cuts into my 'hit on the hot Korean teachers time' and all that... |

Re: excess lighters.
Martha Stewart says..."Chuck 'em out the window in the middle of the night, when entertaining friends. They make a cool 'pop' when they hit the street eight floors below." |

I only buy expensive lighters, because I always lose them and I got sick of not caring. |

Better yet: stop adding to the global CO2 problem and killing people around you & stop smoking.
Saves money that's better used on chocolate. |

I go to parties and bars.
I take the lighters when nobody is looking.
I repackage them and sell them to the local marts.
I make beer money.

I love what a specific number this is. I can just imagine you lonely at home counting them..."58....59.....60....61....F*CK!! I've gotta stop buying lighters!!" |

I keep lighters at work. In my desk. Or don't you have a desk? That's too bad.
To smoke, I take a right out of my classroom, walk ten feet, open the door, and there's the small fire-escape balcony.
But I do know what you're talking about. I have tons of lighters. Decided I'd better keep some at work. |
