I've got to say, without a doubt, 감자탕 (kamjatang). Oh so delish. And if you are alone and they won't bring out the full monty, the substitute version, known as 해장국 will certainly suffice.
If I had to choose a second, it would be 순두부 (soondooboo).
Yeah, look at that picture. Not so picturesque, but if you don't think that looks good, you don't know what's up.

Sam Gyup Sal was my favorite, but Mok sal (the neck cut) is winning out as less fatty and more tasty. I did have bosintang yesterday that was pretty damn good too. |

Boendeggi, tacky rice, and gimchee is not it, but pizza and samgyeopsal has to top the list in Korea for good hot food. Unfortunately there seems to be no delicious oven baked dinners (minus pizza) such as roast and tators, KC strip steak, and lasagna. Boiled eggs and french fries are a pretty darned good treat at times. McDonalds cheeseburgers are tasty too. |

Alyallen, I have to confess I went through a phase with the kimchi jigae. Wooh boy I was eating it a minimum of once a day for several weeks in a row. (that pic of it you posted, though, looks unappetizing!)
But howbout this one?
Lord have mercy. |

닭도리탕
what's with all the English writing. Type the names in Korean, it's easier to read. |
