The only people who are here exclusively for money are losers and Canadians. For real. Everybody else is for a mix of the two, some leaning more toward money, some more towards a different experience.

Pointless poll, case closed.

I wouldve selected avoiding responsibilities if it were offered as a possible answer.

The money is okay but not great. The thing is that back home there is potential to progress at work/in life and make a much better salary after 5, 10, x years but that requires doing real work and living in an adult world. Im not ready for that yet (as embarrassing that is to admit).

Culture is a factor but in all honesty if I were purely after culture, not to mention quality of live I wouldve chosen many other countries ahead of this place. Not to say that Korea is dull or anything I really have enjoyed this country.

But in the end avoiding responsibility/taking time out adulthood/being allowed to get away with crazy stuff gets my vote.

It started as only money but after 7 plus years the culture part is taking over. I like this place.

It's like, "Hey, I wanna bash some group for some imagined or minor slights... But not directly because I've been warned by the mods already and don't want to seem like an obsessive weirdo."

I would have to agree with this post. A nice little break from life while stashing away some cash, good stuff. My fiancee and I figure if we can stick it out in Korea for two years and save up some nice coin, we will be a little ahead of the game when we return to the rat race.
