I picked up one of the free newspapers from outside the subway station this morning. I sat on the bus reading and enjoying my coffee. Well, ok, I wasn't really reading it - rather, looking at the pictures and practicing my Korean on familiar words here and there.

I get to the cartoon section and there's this comic strip of some dude stripping of his girl's knickers, putting on a joey and he's about to knob her in a field when he's disturbed by a US Jet plane. My Hangul isn't flash enough to totally understand whats going on but the pictures are fairly explicit.

I'm definitely not prudish but sitting on a crowded bus reading this stuff made me pretty uncomfortable, I thought 'if people see me studying these shady pictures they're going to think I'm a weirdo'. It's not really the sort of stuff I'd want young kids to see and certainly not acceptable material for a free morning newspaper.

I know there's heaps of dodgy manga/anime out there and Koreans and Japanese in really big on it, BUT, in a free public newspaper? Thats fairly base in my honest opinion.

Yeah, I would pick up a few of the papers when I worked in Bundang last year. There were a few that were fairly shocking (and I don't mean that in a prudish way either . . . it's just, in a public newspaper?)

I don't remember the premise, but a woman was leaving a car and going up to locked door. Instead of a door knob or lock, though, there was a big nose. She took off her panties and put them up to the nose and caused the door to open. Then, a guy gets out of the car and tries a few things to get the door to open. He's confused, but then he puts his fingers up to the door . . .

LOL. A panty-sniffing car door! Who the hell thinks up stuff like that?

Oh yeah. If any one can translate the cartoon as well, that would be good. I'm curious as to what's going on.

There's another half page to the comic too. They get it on in the field, get surprised by the jet, wipe the sweat off and part ways. Riveting stuff.

Notice in so many of Hollywood's Vatican funded HORROR flicks just when couples get around to having sex the crazed killer bursts in onto the scene for a bloody good old fashioned screaming hack & slash?
