DHL just quoted me 900,000won to send home 50kg of luggage! Ridiculous! Does anyone have some experience sending luggage home and know how best to go about it? |

Surface mail. Cheapest method possible. Takes 6-16 weeks.
Go to your local post office and get some #5 boxes (largest you can send overseas) and fill them up.
Alternatively you can try sending them as unaccompanied baggage or air freight with your favorite airline. Probably 1/2 the cost of DHL and just as fast but someone will have to pick it up at the airport.

We used to be able to send unaccompanied bags on the plane but Islam ended that. |
