| DHL just quoted me 900,000won to send home 50kg of luggage! Ridiculous! Does anyone have some experience sending luggage home and know how best to go about it? |

Surface mail. Cheapest method possible. Takes 6-16 weeks.
Go to your local post office and get some #5 boxes (largest you can send overseas) and fill them up.
Alternatively you can try sending them as unaccompanied baggage or air freight with your favorite airline. Probably 1/2 the cost of DHL and just as fast but someone will have to pick it up at the airport.

| We used to be able to send unaccompanied bags on the plane but Islam ended that. |

yep...you guys were right. Just found out. Sending 30kgs via post office=200,000won
