Hello!
We have a long weekend coming up and want to go down to Jeju. Does anyone know of a guest house in Jeju city where we can stay? We'd like to spend 30-40,000/night, which should be doable. Our handbook doesn't list any and the internet is coming up blank. Suggestions? Thank you!

There are heaps of love motels/yogwans/minbaks around the 30,000 mark and you might even get discount if you stay a couple of nights and ask nicely. I was there recently and didn't make any bookings - just wandered around and picked one in the location I wanted. I stayed at a few different places and my favourite was one street back from Tap Dong E-mart. Handy to the board walk by the sea, close to shopping, close to Blue Agave, about 4,000 won (i think) to the bus terminal, clean room, friendly ajumma, discount and internet. This street had quite a few places. The first one I stayed in there was as cold as and not worth 30,000. I ended up doing a quick vacate the second night.
