Anyone know of a good source? US to Korea? Been trying this morning on the net and NOTHING good has come out of it. High season (expletive!).
Thanks.
p.s. happy to use a live travel agent if you know a good one.
pps if it makes a difference, I can fly from SEA-TAC or Vancouver (Canada). |

Will you be working for a hakwon or public school?
If you are at a hakwon, let them deal with it. If they want a cheap flight, they can hunt and peck. If they want you ASAP they can pay for it.
If you are at a public school, just get the best deal you can and don't sweat it. They are good for it.
If you are on your own nickel, call Singapore air and fly soon while we are still shoulder season. |

I'm coming over to do some research... and no, not into which hagwon, I've changed my stripes and I'm not in ESL anymore. I wish I could fly shoulder season, but I need to be there, basically, for the month of July. |

Try Singapore air (Vancouver - Seoul - nonstop) or EVA Air (via Taiwan) or Cathay Pacific (via HK).
Northwest also has cheaper flights via Tokyo.
There is also a new discount airline that will start flying Vancouver to Hong Kong at the end of June ( http://www.oasishongkong.com/ ) and you can connect to a cheap flight from HK to here.
They have flights Van-HK for as little as $800 CAD (US$725) return - from their on-line bookings.
Cathay has flights HK-ICN regularly priced from US$340.
Total would run about $1100 USD return in peak season. |
