A real Vespa? Seriously, you don't have anything better to spend 10 mil on? |

oh wow. i could import one for cheaper then that. (i had no idea they cost that much) actually...if they are going for that, maybe i could even start a buisness out of it.
in thailand they were cheap and everywhere (and in vietnam...and yes i know that theres a difference between where they were made)
i just dig the hell out of the old 60s vespas.
in the states i also had old vws.....so i guess i just like old cars and such:)
seriously though....if anyone has one or knows where to look, id still like to see what the scene for those things is out here. |

I've no idea where that 10 million won price came from. Way off the mark, I'd say. If you check out the following links you will be able to track something down in Seoul that sounds like the sort of thing you are after:
http://www.motoprime.com/
http://www.vespagarage.co.kr/
The new or newer PX 125's are pretty spiffy looking. The smallies are cute and always fun.
If you are after something older like a VBB or VLB you might want to check out their history: in most cases they will have likely originated in SE Asia (although they all started off in Pontedera). As with any Viet/Thai resto's be careful and thorough before you buy.
That said I have a sweet '68 VLB1T in Canada that I bought in Sai Gon last year and shipped home. Total cost, to my door, was less than US$1500. If that's something you are interested in doing here you'd have to navigate the Korean import and customs minefield, but I can give you some heads up on decent places to look in Viet Nam.
Good luck with the search,
