SOLD. May 26, 2007

Thank you for your inquiries.

Serial #: KM4SF41A72110****
Papers in Hand - Seoul

Brief Description: 2002 Hyosung Troy "Retro-Bobber inspired moto" with offroad capabilities. Comes with expensive custom pipes for this class (these custom pipes alone are worth 600 bones new), 24000km on odometer. Included are vintage US military ammo cases (air tight metal cases). Located in Seoul. Asking 1.0 Million Won (May 22, 2007). Your's in June. Plenty of time to inspect the bike and meet me. The Troy's engine is placed higher up in the frame for more multi-terrian environments...it goes where you want. The tires are sweet (180 rear); people often think this is a 600cc bike.

Fuel economy is amazing on this 125cc horse (26.5 km/L highway). The engine, starter, forks, tread, brake pads, chain & sprockets and carb are all excellent. In otherwords, mechanically good. I'm running the Troy on fully synthetic Elf engine oil.

PM if interested, no trades, non-negotiable on price. I know how much this is worth on bikemart.co.kr. Go check it out. I'm selling it below market.

Video-clip (listen with speakers or ear-phones to custom pipes):

Bobber (Definition)http://www.rmh-d.com/info/glossary.php#B

A bobber is a motorcycle that is customized by removing all extraneous and non-essential parts from the motorcycle. This is done to increase performance (higher power to weight ratio) and to increase handling (lower unsprung weight over the axles). The bobber was originally built in the late 1940s and 1950s by servicemen returning from WWII who were looking for a little excitement. The bobber-style motorcycle is the forerunner of the more modern chopper-style motorcycle.

The word "bobber" likely gets its name from women's "bobbed" hairdos that were popular around the time, characterized by short hair that falls above the shoulder.

What's that, a recoil-less rifle on a Vespa? Something to clear intersections with? That's kinda nasty, who's got the ROAD RAGE, Rambo?

I remember reading some years ago that the Frenchies used motorcycles to transport cannon barrels during the 1st World War. Is this baby this one of them? Anyway, I WANT one, but with a Gatling gun!

I didn't know you owned a Troy. What happened to your other ride; your beast?

BTW I think you can get at least 1.1million for your Troy.

I want anyone who wants to buy it to meet me in person and see the bike and papers. I'll accompany them to the bike district office to ensure the bike registers without any complications. My timeline is pretty flexible for those with cashflow timing needs. This is especially so since I love riding motorcycles and I can wait for the right buyer. Embarassed I wound up with this bike because I put my Hayabusa on bikemart thinking it would take a long time to sell for 10g's...it sold in 14 hours Sad . I was happy to find a buyer so easily yet somewhat sad to not have a motorcycle so soon. I couldn't stand being bikeless before I left Korea.

Since selling the Hayabusa on Bikemart (posting, taking calls, explaining through body language), I'd rather just sell it at a discount (for convenience sake) rather than maximizing my cash. Heck, we're just talking about a $900 bike...nothing special here.

After having been here for four years, I have grown to believe we ex-pats have to try to help each other as was shown to me when I came here. So I'm happy to accomodate in any way that I can.

If you need some gear, I can include it with the bike at an additional cost. You might find these bits useful since some of them were ordered from America and fit us better. Other parts were purchased in Korea, but might be useful and cheaper. Not for sale outside this sale - only to the buyer of the bike.

ICON Black Leather Jacket (imported from USA)...expensivee!!
Red Face 5 Man Tent. (was $150 USD)
Red Face Mini Camp Burner (was $60 USD)
Chain Lock (was $10 USD)
Magnetic Tank Bra (for maps) was $40
Icon (OEM) Titanium Shielded Gloves (was $120)
HJC All Black Helmet (was $70)
Shin and Knee Guards (was $15)
Edelweiss Sleeping Bag (was $25)

I also have a Widder Lectric heated vest and heated gloves, Finnish made compass, etc...but we can talk about that later.
