Im going next week and Im wondering how hard is this thing to get? And also what do you need for it etc. Some have said its quite a complicated process with lots of hoops to jump through but others have said it quite a simple process. |

I think it depends on what country you're from. Last Summer, I went from Hong Kong to Shenzen. Walking over the border, it took me about 20 min. at the border control to get a VISA (one day type, dunno??). BTW, I'm Canadian. Best of luck to you. |

If you mean at the Chinese consulate in Korea - it depends on how much you want to pay.
ASSUMING you are NOT American (they have different prices):
35000 won = 4 day service
55000 won = 2 day service
75000 won = same day service
for Americans:
60k won = 4 day service
90k won = 2 day service
120k won = same day service
You need CASH, application, passport and one passport type photo.

I went through an agency and they took care of it for me. It was waiting for me at the airport. |
