Hi everybody,
I'm thinking of marrying my Korean girlfriend, but the more I think about it, the less I can accept the idea of living in Korea for the rest of my life. She is well-educated and speaks English fluently. She is open to the idea of us living in the UK, but I'm worried about what kind of work she could hope to get. Has anyone done anything like this and succeeded? She would have to be able to get some kind of professional office-type job to be happy.
Any advice?
Thanks! |

Hey,
I am a Korean woman who was also brought up in Korea and moved to North America at a mature age of 26. I've gone through the phase of "having a somewhat good English, but no real marketable skills" to "being gainfully employed and making some bucks."
I would like to know more of her background, before making any assumption and saying things. Does she have a career in Korea? if so, what does she do? What does she like to do with herself? Can you fill me with more information? |

| if you could get her into a masters course at a decent british university for one year, she could probably get something at the end of it. |
