				| Hey, all - this summer, when my wife and I head over to our new teaching jobs, I'll be shipping my very expensive tower pc and monitor over as well. I'll use either UPS or FedEx, and of course, I'll take care of all necessary precautions (packaging the components seperately, extra packing, etc.)
That's not what concerns me. What I'm worried about is: will I have any problem with Korean customs? We've lived in Korea before, and I know that there's some sort of strange "dollar amount" limit sometimes for bringing in things to the country, where if your item is above that, you have to pay an incredible amount of "tax", or "shipping fee", to bring your item in through customs. For example: if, say, I simply ordered a brand new pc from Dell off the 'Net while I was in Korea, I'd have to pay, since I didn't buy a pc from within the country (thereby not supporting the local economy, I suppose), and I'd be penalized for trying to bring in this very expensive item at customs. It's also happened if loved ones back home wanted to ship us a package w/nice stuff in it, and after declaring the value of it, customs charged the receipients that "shipping fee" if again the items in question were above this set value amount.

But with my situation, I've already bought and paid for this pc here in the US. It's already mine, and I just want to bring it over. So, how the heck do I do this? What proper forms do I need? Do I need to supply Korean customs w/all my Newegg.com receipts? Or, is this all a moot point because, since I'll be using UPS/FedEx, it won't be a problem?

If anyone can tell me specifically how to do this, or what to prepare for, or even direct me to this situation before in another post, I'd greatly appreciate it. PM me or post here. Thanks!
