|
|
Does anyone have information or know of a where I can locate information on opening a private language school in Korea?
I was in Korea for 2 plus years and would like to go back and open the school. I have family there as my wife is Korean. I would like to set it up as a private business with the business license and obtain Korean Department of Education license / certificate if possible.
I was just looking for an insiders perspective.
Any information or comments would be most welcome.
Note: I have a masters degree, numerous certifications, and over 10 years teaching experience. |

Just speculating but i'd imagine you would need upwards of 50 000 000 won. |

based on my boss, all you need is money.
No knowledge of teaching or outright common sense is required. |

ou'll need a minimum of 50,000,000 for the visa, although more is certainly better for re-sale value of the school.
Check out EFL-LAW. The owner of the site is opening his own school and is posting step by step everything he's done, updating it weekly. It's in a Sticky in the Business forum.
An interesting process for sure. |
