My friend tried to get a Multi-entry Visa in Seoul but they told her to go somewhere else (forgot name of the city). Will someone tell me where I can get a multi-entry visa in Korea? Thanks!!

Dan

You have to go to immigration office. If you are American you should have gotten it when you got your visa. Look on your visa page and see if it has an "M" for multiple or an "S" for single. If it has an "S" then you need to go to immi and get your mulitple. Can't remmber how much it costs, but you need acouple of more photos.

It should be the same office that issued your ARC.

If you are in Paju, perhaps you have to go to the Uijeonbu office instead of the Seoul office?

I don't have time to check the immigration website at the moment. You can always ask your boss which immigration office he had to deal with.

Last time I did it you had to go to the SAME office as your ARC Card, don't go to another one as that will be a waste of time.

If you don't plan on traveling a lot, don't bother. All you have to do is get a reentry thingy at the airport when you leave. It's no biggie (or just get it at immi before your trip).

It MAY have changed from the issuing office because they have recently (within the last 3 months) changed the boundaries for each office's jurisdiction.

It is PROBABLY the same office that issued the card. The address of that office will be on the card (picture side, lower right corner).

You can always (if you miss the local office) get a single re-entry permit on your way out at the airport.

It can also be done on-line:
