Are unlocked phones able to be used in South Korea?
I'm thinkning of purchasing the Nokia N73 unlocked before I get there and just buying a SIM card. Is that possible? Cuz, I really like that phone model.

Thanks in advance for any info you could give.

don't listen to mrs squirrel. Korea has a CDMA network which means that the sim card phones (GSM) don't really work there. Phones are cheap and plentiful over there, just wait till you get there to buy one.

Short and quick anwer is NO.

If you bring one here it will be nothing more than an expensive alarm clock.

Nokia may be planning to re-enter the Korean market for the 3rd time. But, it's tough being successful entering a market with 2 strong home competitors.
