The train just crossed from South Korea to North Korea today. A milestone of sorts, seven years in the making. Probably another empty hope. |

I really believe in the power of symbolism.
I've seen this work in several parts of the world, notably S. Africa and E. Germany. It is the small things which are unnoticed but which imperceptibly move the world.
Bravo on all accounts, however expedient to the powers that be. We need more of this, just like that young guy flying his ultra lite onto Red Square. Who is up for a similiar trip to Pyeongyang?

It was an 80 million dollar project. How much of that did NK pay? |

And I bet NK will take a cut everytime a train passes through. A 'we have a sense of entitlement' tax. |
