From what I hear quite a few Koreans have it. Have you heard of any foreigners getting this disease? Other E-Teachers you know, or just heard of that picked it up? |

Hep is everywhere. It's in all countries. It effects natives and foreigners. |

Before coming over here quite a few years ago I looked into getting shots and immunizations and what not and I remember hepatitis being one of the illnesses one should get immunized for.
I didn't know Korean were carriers until reading this post.
Thankfully I went through the whole immunization process a long time ago when I worked with intellectually handicapped people to put myself through college and university. |

no hep, but a co worker did develop a serious ( non drinking related) liver problem shortly after arriving. |
