|
|
To any of you out there who are Formula 1 fans in Seoul, where can you watch the races? I missed the Spanish GP. I've been here for a couple of weeks and struggling to find out where I can watch the races. Are the races shown on cable? If so, are they delayed or shown live, or a bit of a mixed bag?
I live in Omokgyo/Mok-dong in the south-west of Seoul on line 5 (the purple line), so if there are sports bars nearby that show the races, I'd be happy to make the trip to see them. I'm planning on jumping across to China to see the race later on in the year, anyone else going to, or thinking of doing the same?
Any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

Star Sports on Skylife shows both the qualifying sessions and the race itself, as well as quite a bit of other motor racing.
When you say you are going to China to see the GP, do you mean Shanghai or Macau???

Thanks for that JazzyJJJ, much appreciated. Will have to get that hooked up soon. I'm going to go to Shanghai to see the Formula 1 race there, the penultimate race of the season.
Cheers mate. |

Formula 1 races are usually on MBC-ESPN.
Sometimes they are live, and sometimes they are tape-delayed.
They broadcast the Spanish Grand Prix live last week. |

You could try going to Beer O'Clock and speaking with the owner (Trevor) about it. He *might* be able to hook something up for you. |

I have been an F1 fan for years. Korea posed a problem for me, esspecially when I lost cable. THEN I found bittorrent!! There you can download almost every F1 GP, and qualifying. |

Ahhhh sweet sweet bittorrent, good suggestion. How long after each race and qualifying is it before you can dowload them? I think I'll get some form of cable to keep in touch with sports in general and if its on, good, but if not, downloads will serve me well. Thanks to all for their help and suggestions. |
